I took a cat and her kittens home from the MSPCA and I was told the mother had been given Advantage 28 hours prior to me taking them home. I believe the kittens were to young for treatment. I brought them home in a carrier and let them out in my bathroom with a lenolium floor. The mother layed down where my carpet and lenolium meet, more just her back end against the carpert with the door closed. I then noticed 2-3 live fleas fall off the mother, although they were not moving to much, but they looked like they had blood in them. I did not get bit or anthing, but now I am terrified that they are going to infest my house! I have two cats who I had put flea treamtent on about 2 days prior to this. The cat and kittens were in my house for about 15 minutes before I put them back in the carrier and took them back to the shelter. After I got back from the shelter (two-four) hours later I put flea powder down in the area where the carpeting is, where it meets the lenolium. The next day i bought a flea bomb and bombed my bathroom whre they were and spread the flea powder on the rest of the carpets , but not under furniture. I figured they couldnt get under there that quick, hopefully anyway and I did not see any fleas that looked very lively when I had the cats still at the house) I washed my clothes that I was wearing about 5 times and put them in the dryer on the hotest cycle I can. I also put the flea powder on the carpets in my vehicle. Any idea on how likely I am to be infested and how long will it take before I know for sure??

Bay Leaves, don`t kill Fleas. However, Fleas do not like the smell of the aroma that Bay Leaves give off. So it`s more of a Flea Repelent. It does work if you want fleas to stay away a certian place.

No, it uses the same technique as a humidifier to make a cool mist and then heats it up to create a `fake` steam. It doesn`t have the temperatures needed to properly disinfect or kill anything unless you put it directly against the surface.
