connect it to your computer sync to i tunes and it will repair itself.it worked for me!good luck

It`s a common problem. Try double clicking your speaker-icon at the bottom right of your desktop (near the clock). Once that pops up, make sure you have your headphones checked, and speakers unchecked. (or viseversa)

1. Plug in the headsett 2. Right click on your audiospeakers icon in the taskbar(lower right corner). Choose playback devices 3. Right click on speakers and select "set as default device". The headset should now be for comunication(vent, skype ect) and speakers for everything else, if not then right click on the headset and choose "set as default comunication device"

you can easily download the realtek software on your home or your office pc and make the sound of your computer and the sound in the headphones louder because the settings in the realtek software has the setting for increasing the headphone sound. so use it and then apply the raising and you have the loud sound in your headphones

You should attach stereo with that or you can attach powered speakers with that.

I don`t know why either, I looked all over the web for help, and no one seemed to know, this is what I did on my toshiba running windows 7: I went to "speakers properties.....click on Advanced tab.... under the Exclusive mode: uncheck "Allow aplications to take exclusive control of this device.....click apply......under the enhancement tab.....click on "disable all enhancements"... click apply..... This worked for me, I hope it helps.

Just had the same issue - I hadn`t changed anything, but one day came in and playing from both sources. I have just stumbled across the solution, that works for me anyhow. In the `Master vlume` box, I ticked `mute all` which stopped the pc speaker but not the headphone. By ticking the `mute` on the `wave` bit, this mutes the headphones. Not sure if this is supposed to happen or not, but it has the desired effect! Job done. PS Thought I should add that the headphones are plugged into the headphone socket on teh front panel of a hp Compaq standard hospital issue!
