    Q. How often can a dog be washed?

Dog can be washed one a week and i guess it won`t be too bad. But i know that you won`t do it so often so it is good. I will do the following - i will wash him if he is dirty or smells but if he is good smelling and clean than there are no reason to wash him :) John Doubtson

    Q. Can fleas be washed out of my dog?

Fleas can be washed out of your dog even if you wash him with special shampoo. But i don`t know how effective are those shampoos mostly they are from keeping fleas away. So better buy some real medication against fleas. It is not expensive and has a different types so you can choose the best varian for your lifestyle. John Doubtson

    Q. Can keyboard be washed?

Yes, you can wash a keyboard but rather than dipping it into water and detergent like you would clothes, rather use a damp cloth to wipe the keyboard clean. Take care not to get the keyboard too wet, as this could harm the keyboard.

    Q. What are the side effects to dogs being washed with suave body wash?
my bratty little sister decided to wash my dog with it! i just want to make sure my dog isn't going to have any side effects from it. i have dog shampoo that i can wash her with if that would do anything. i just need to know! thanks, that helped a lot.

There won't be any side effects from doing this for one time. Long term use could cause drying of the skin and hair since dogs have a different ph than we do. Thank your little sis for trying to be helpful and let her know from now on to use only a dog shampoo.

    Q. Can drug dogs smell washed clothing that is used while smoking weed?
after washing my clothes several times does the scent still stay in the clothing as im going on a trip with my proffessor and i would prefer not to be caught

why would there be drugs dogs onyour trip. Weed smells alot and those dogs have precise noses so I would wash your clothes a few more times to be sure.

    Q. Please help** i washed my dogs ears with equal parts applecider vinegar and water exactly as directed?
and now she is crying and going crazy shaking. is this normal? this is the first time i have ever done it, but i went by the directions and she looks to really be in pain/discomfort now. is this normal for dogs after the apple cider vinegar treatment? please help, thanks.

Honey I have never heard of putting apple cider vinegar in a dog's ears. I've heard of white vinegar and water but not the apple cider. Call the vet. I'm so sorry.

    Q. Why do dogs run around and go mad after being washed?!?
every time i wash my dog and (previous dogs i have had) they always hate being washed but then go mad afterwards! anyone have any idea why this is?! my dog will run around and suddenly become hyperactive after a bath! is it because they are glad the bath is over or is it because they like feeling clean?! sensible answers/guesses please!

I love this!!!! My 1 year old pit/lab goes nuts after a bath... I dry her off for as long as i can hold her still, then she takes off running laps around the house... Jumps on all the couches and the bed and runs like crazy flopping herself on the floor. Plus we have wooden floors throughout most of the house so she is pretty much skiing through the house since she's still wet. I think they mainly want to dry off... hehe.

    Q. Can u adopt police dogs that washed out of training?
ok so i wanna adopt a german shepard police dog that dropped out of training or "wasnt good enough" to become a police dog. is it possible? and how do i find one? or a website?

Brian M is dead on, but I just wanted to add you may me able to get a retired police K9. I believe they typically retire between 5-7yrs. It's pretty normal for their handlers to keep them after they retire, but at times they become available for civilian adoption.

    Q. Occurred in november when she washed 1,000 dogs. what was the variable rate for?
jenny was reviewing the water bill for her doggy day spa and determined that her highest bill, $3,000, occurred in july when she washed 2,000 dogs and her lowest bill, $2,000, occurred in november when she washed 1,000 dogs. what was the variable rate for jenny's water bill? b.$2.00 c.$l.00 d.$0.67 e.$0.50

C, $1.00 It cost an additional $1,000 to wash an additional 1,000 dogs; that calculates to a variable cost of $1.00 per dog.

    Q. Why is it that sometimes the crockery i have washed smells of "wet dogs"? glass and china seem worst affected
it seems to happen when i have been cooking eggs ( i always use teflon pans) and wonder if its anything to do with that? it's a really horrible smell and sometimes needs a soak in boiling water to get rid of it.

No way should you blame the smell on eggs this has something to do with your water or your cloth or sponge you have used to wash your pots and pans and dishes, you can rid this problem by adding two to three tablespoons of White Vinegar to your dishwashing liquid, this will help to disinfect and help your dishwashing liquid last longer or you can simply follow these directions Clean china, crystal, and glassware Put the sparkle back in your glassware by adding vinegar to your rinse water or dishwater. To keep your everyday glassware gleaming, add 1/4 cup vinegar to your dishwasher's rinse cycle. To rid drinking glasses of cloudiness or spots caused by hard water, heat up a pot of equal parts white vinegar and water (use full-strength vinegar if your glasses are very cloudy), and let them soak in it for 15-30 minutes. Give them a good scrubbing with a bottle brush, then rinse clean. Add 2 tablespoons vinegar to your dishwater when cleaning your good crystal glasses. Then rinse them in a solution of 3 parts warm water to 1 part vinegar and allow them to air-dry. You can also wash delicate crystal and fine china by adding 1 cup vinegar to a basin of warm water. Gently dunk the glasses in the solution and let dry. To get coffee stains and other discolorations off china dishes and teacups, try scrubbing them with equal parts vinegar and salt, followed by rinsing them under warm water Or try this solution for your pots and pans Remove stains from pots, pans, and ovenware Nothing will do a better job than vinegar when it comes to removing stubborn stains on your cookware. Here's how to put the power of vinegar to use: Give those dark stains on your aluminum cookware (caused by cooking acidic foods) the heave-ho by mixing in 1 teaspoon white vinegar for every cup of water needed to cover the stains. Let it boil for a couple of minutes, then rinse with cold water. To remove stains from your stainless steel pots and pans, soak them in 2 cups white vinegar for 30 minutes, then rinse them with hot, soapy water followed by a cold-water rinse. To get cooked-on food stains off your glass ovenware, fill them with 1 part vinegar and 4 parts water, heat the mixture to a slow boil, and let it boil at a low level for five minutes. The stains should come off with some mild scrubbing once the mixture cools. They call it nonstick, but no cookware is stainproof. For mineral stains on your nonstick cookware, rub the utensil with a cloth dipped in undiluted distilled vinegar. To loosen up stubborn stains, mix 2 tablespoons baking soda, 1/2 cup vinegar, and 1 cup water and let it boil for 10 minutes. And I would like to suggest to you to try this on your cloth or sponge that you use for washing your dishes with pour a little White Vinegar on ;your sponge or cloth to clean and disinfect them after use no rinsing required it will clean and deodorize them and they will be free of bacteria Good Luck !

    Q. Is a dogs water bowl susposed to be washed everyday?
please tell my roomate that a dog needs to have a clean water bowl everyday! he does not believe me. he thinks every otherday is good!

A clean water bowl everyday is best. But cleaning it every other day wont hurt anything. I clean my dog's water bowl every time he empties it before I refill it.

    Q. Do dogs get cold when washed in cold enviroments with cold ambient temps?
hey guys, i own a black labrador anyway...she is starting to get smelly...generally we hire a dogwash franchise to come over and wash/dry her in a specifically suited out trailer. eg..warm water, blowdryer. anyway the local dogwash service came to an end. the question being... if i were to wash the dog myself and not blow dry her.with temps outside of 6 degree's c, will she cope? or get cold? what are dog's resistances to temperature varyations when wet?? just curious as i dont want her to freeze

    "Until she is really dry..."

DOGS do FEEL the COLD! I know it makes for extra work , put your dog in the bath . shampoo her , rinse her well , (shower attachment is ideal for rinsing .) wrap a towell around hier and get her out , dry her ears i carefully, nside and out . towel her down; Brush & blow dry her well ; and keep her indoors, until she is really dry , Usually takes the same time , for you, to have mopped up, all the water from the bathroom floor !!! It never ceases to amaze me ,how much water is dispersed around the house, when you bath a dog !!!!!! Have fun >^,,^< I have three small dogs and i bath them, in the shower . and make sure they are completely warm and dry , before i let them outside ..

    Q. What would be a good solution to remove a lot of swarming fly on our dogs i already washed?
or tell me a atracter or killer ant lowes or home depot dog safe

flee and tick colors would be a good thing for one. use flee and tick shampoo and let it is for 5min on the dog and wash. you can make or buy this stuff called Terror ( it is easy and cheaper to buy kills ants) http://www.terro.com/ Get some Borax powdered soap and some corn syrup. Heat the corn syrup, do not let it biol, then mix in the boraxo! They will eat the stuff and take it back to the queen. Will kill them. Mix about 1/2cup syrup with 1/2 table spoons of Boraxo. Should do the trick. Pour some of it, a dime size will do, on some paper and place it where they are at. Will get bad for a few days. then they will start to drop off. If you want you can buy the stuff ready made. Its called TERROR and as four your flys here a web site you can order stuff on http://www.epestsupply.com/flies.htm Hope this helps :)
