Q. How do i know what type of psp i have?

Take out the battery of your psp and look at where the battery was. There should be two stickers. Loot at the top right hand side of the big sticker and look for a number. If the first three digits are: 100=> It is a psp phat. 200=> It is a psp slim. 300=> It is a psp lite. This is the simplest way to know the type/model of your psp.

Besides beefing up your RAM, you could also replace your hard disk with faster one. If you haven't done so, use Disk Utility to repair permissions. Better yet, get a third party shareware to optimize your system.

i got my mac back in 2004, and i am planning on probably replacing it within the next year. i've noticed lately it has started to slow down. is it because of all the photos i have? First Run the Disk Help Application. (Should be in the Utility Folder inside the Applications Folder) and Run Repair Permissions in it. Even run it a few times if you never did it before. Run Mac janitor ( http://personalpages.tds.net/~brian_hill/macjanitor.html ) It runs the cleanup procedures that normally only run during the nighttime. (Mac OS X = Unix. Unix does his 'housecleaning' during nighttime, but if your computer is off it never does) I hope this helps

Unfortunately, no. If you have an Intel Mac you can install Windows alongside OS X with Boot Camp for gaming, and many Windows games can played in Linux using Wine, but neither of those will work for a Mac using a PowerPC processor. Wine doesn't work in OS X because of the way Apple implemented the X11 windowing system, and Windows is not coded to run on a PowerPC processor. There are versions of Linux that are coded to run on PowerPC processors, but you can't use Wine to run Windows games that way because the games are still coded for x86 (AMD/Intel) processors. Basically unless you want to buy a new Intel Mac, you can only play Windows games on a PC.

You should either try ebay.com or lowendmac.com and I would suggest looking at the G4 Tower rather than the G3 iMac as the G3 is very slow by today's standards.

That Mac has been upgraded to the hilt! The only draw back that can see is that it is an AGP Mac. Produced in 1999/2000, the bus speed on that model is only 100MHz. Other then that, I don't see the asking price as being unreasonable. That computer will do just about anything that you may want to do with it. Not knowing you experience level or interests makes it hard to determine if this computer is actually a good buy for you, but for the average Mac user I would consider that computer to be a good buy.
