They may or may not be fleas. The best thing that you could do is to use bug spray to get rid of the little black jumpy bugs. It is better to be safe than sorry!

IN FACT there are so many factors which tells that your bath tub is acrylic or not. the first factor is this that if the magnet does not sticks to your bath tub then your bath tub is acrylic otherwise its made of iron steel . the second factor is that the actylic bathtubs are very easy to scratch as compare to the iron steel bath tubs.

First of all, porcelain must feel very cold at touch. Also acrylic bath tubs are somehow flexible, you can check that when standing in the tub. Arcylic can be made in any shape which is its best advantage, but it cant stay cool in so hot water as iron and steel tubs do.

I THINK THAT the fiberglass is the best type of bathtub that you can use in your bath due to a number of reasons. the most important is the reliability of the fiber glass and the beauty of the fiber glass.. the fiberflass bathtubs life is very long than that of the acrylic. so you can try the fiberglass and feel the difference dude.

The fiberglass tubs tend to crack after a few years. Even the high end ones. This is a little known fact. The advantage steel and porcelain tubs have is that if you drop something and the porcelain chips, if you don`t go out and buy some porcelain repair touch up paint, the chipped area will rust because the steel is exposed. Fortunately almost every hardware store sells porcelain touch-up paint for all the popular colors. All in all my preference is the long last steel and porcelain tubs.

I have no idea what kind of tub I have. But, it looks like paint on it that has chipped off leaving a duller slightly different shade. I don`t know how to repair this or what to use. The bottom is almost completely chipped off down the center. How can I find out what to do?

First of all you should find out something more about these two materials. What i can tell is that the porcelain tub is heavier then acrylic tub that why i would choose acrylic one because it is easyer to install it and get out from tub `s place when it is necessary. So just knock at your tub and from that you should know the material from what your tub is made of. Judith Foster
