Why is the connection on black ops so slow?

"It is bad when i play online with people in different continents..."

It might be an overload of people, or like me on my PS3, it is bad when I play online with people in different continents, ex: U.S.A player 4 bars, Europe player 1 bar, the creator of the game always have the highest bars, and so will the locale people near him/her.

Will maplestory cause my laptop to be slow?

"It does not slow down my computer the slightest bit..."

Not at all. I have a 1gb RAM laptop and it runs absolutely wonderfully. it does not slow down my computer the slightest bit even though maplestory has about 2 gb of space. so i dont feel you should worry, the quality is even good.
