Q. Want to buy a lap top to dj with, how do i split the channels so i can cue one deck with out playing tocrowd?

? ok i currently dj with 2 cd players through a mixer, its easy i have a 4 channel mixer and 2 cd players, the head phone jack monitors any 1 of the 4 channels and the volume on the mixer allows you to play a cd to the crowd and another cd for me to listen through the head phones, very standard, we run a teenage night club, i dont dj but the guy who does just plugs into my system so his out put from his mixer goes into my mixers channel 3 then to the amps and so on, into his mixer he runs a device called scratch live with 2 turn tables for scratching and his lap top where he runs virtual dj also runs into the scratch live, he has vinyl on the turntables but dont play them when he scratches it just some how comes through the output, anyhow what i wanna do is get a laptop for my shows, i dont want to scratch or use vinyl i just want to be able to provide a quality sound and be able to listen to one channel while the other plays what do i need to do so, where do i start i have an external harddrive with alot of music what type of computer (laptop) would you recommend what soft ware hard ware etc strange-triangle.blogspot.com wtf is that to do wit this sorry but c'mon just doing djing for a hobby in my shed and a few close friends partys, i hire my sound gear to the local rugby club and they have their own dj who is licensed and its his responsibility im sure

Q. Windows vista lap top suck?

everytime i wanna hear music most of the time this hapens. i turn the volume on and like it would show this and the only way i can listen is if i wait for like 5 minutes or restart my computer...... it shows... "windows explorer is not responding.(i use firefox..?) windows can check for a solution online. if you restart or close the program, you might lose information. it has 3 choices to click 1)check for a solution and restart the program 2)close the program 3)wait for the program to respond.... and while this happens... like the bottom screen icons i cant click on nothing it just shows this unless i click on 2)close the program then it closes and is fine but. i cant hear music.... i would have to restart the computer.. what the f***???? nothing works before someone said i have too much things on my computer try uninstalling unnessicary stuff i dont use i did, and that is not the problem.............. please help? =] thankyou

Q. Sound on my lap top?

i have recently puchased a lap top.all was fine until a couple of days ago when i turned it on and since then no sound.i have checked that the "mute" button isn't on.then a funny thing happened.my boy downloaded "talking buddy" and the sound for that is fine.i thought the problem had been solved but trying to run anything else there is still no sound.the funny thing is that when talking buddy is on the sound volume and mute buttons don't work.the sound stays the same.this is driving me crazy.please tell me what i can do(in simple terms because i am not that familiar with computers).thanks a lot!

Q. Why is my built in webcam on my lap top not recording sound now?

i turned it on to use it and recorded a video and there is no sound recording on it now, my computer is only a year old and i just figured out how to use it! i checked all the audio stuff on it and everything but its not recording sounds still, my computer is on full volume and so is the webcam!! ugh its driving me nuts! i thought it was broken the other day cuz it was stuff on some voice effect to make me sound like a chipmunk but i figured it out and turned the voice effects off and it was working right, and now the sound dont work at all! wtf! ugh can sum1 help me please lol

Q. How do i fix my computer?

last night i was downloading a program to update my drivers, but i think i might have downloaded a virus or trojan or something and then my computer was acting funny and it went to a black screen. now when i turn it on it'll do everything but after the windows xp load screen all 3 lock keys on the keyboard turn on and then off, and the screen is black. i think this is where i downloaded it. http://www.dailykeys.com/today/driver_detective_serial_6.3.0.4.html i am on a lap top right now. i can go to safe mode but after i click next to do the system restore on system restore it won't go. i can't access the internet from it. the audio works and i did chkdsk and it went through all 3. when i turn on the computer it says ________________________________________________________ the mch is operating with ddr2 533/cl4 in single-channel mode initializing usb controllers .. done. 504mb ok usb device (s) : 1 mouse, 4 storage devices auto-detecting pri slave...atapi cdrom auto-detecting sec master..ide hard disk pri slave : lite-on dvdrw lh-20a1l bl01 ultra dma mode-5 sec master: st380815as 3.aac ultra dma mod-5, s.m.a.r.t. capable and status ok auto-detecting usb mass storage devices found and configured .. device #01 : generic usb sd reader device #02 : generic usb cf reader device #03 : generic usb sm reader device #04 : generic usb ms reader 04 usb mass storage devices found and configured a; drive error press f1 to resume _____________________ in directory devices restore mode (windows domain controllers only) the audio works and i can open my videos, but the system restore won't restore to the date i choose, which is a system checkpoint. nothing happens on enable vga mode, enable boot logging or debugging mode. all safe modes go but system restore doesn't go after i click next when i go to last known configuration that worked it goes to the windows xp loading screen, but then the keyboard shuts off the the screen is black. but it doesn't turn off, nothing pops up on the monitor and says no signal detected. when i downloaded the file i pit it in my desktop, when i went into safe mode i deleted it. where else should i look for this file. can somebody help please. i know it didn't crash since, i can see all my pictures and videos and documents on safe mode, but it won't go directly to the log on so i can just be on it regularly. also when i go to directory devices restore mode a blue screen pops up with the xp logo in the top right says microsoft (r) windows (r) version 5.1 (build 26001 service pack 2) 2 system processors 504 mb memory multiprocessor kernel the system is booting in safe mode - directory services repair can't determine file system of drive \??\volume-[9db6b12d-11dc-9da1-806d6172696f}. can't determine file system of drive \??\volume-[9db6b130-11dc-9da1-806d6172696f}. can't determine file system of drive \??\volume-[9db6b12e-11dc-9da1806d6172696f}. can't determine file system of drive \??\volume-[9db6b12f-11dc-9da1806d6172696f}. checking file system on c: the volume is clean. windows has finished checking the disc. then it continues to the log on screen for the safe mode. i'm not sure if i have a program for antivirus, i used to but i don't anymore. i can run malware and antimalwarebytes program. also when i go to start windows normally it does the same thing as when i go to last known good configuration i downloaded those programs and burned the exe's to a cd. but they don't work when i try to install them on my computer they don't work. are there any other program's that i can download that are similar to those.
