I cannot answer you first question. But I can answer your second question. PSP-3000 has a optional battery like pandora battery, you can use it as your main battery. It is the first battery to "hack" the PSP, to install custom firmware (To play downloaded games)

Currently you cannot play ISO files of PSP games on the new PSP 3000. Playing ISO games requires having Custom Firmware which is currently only available for the 1000 and 2000 PSPs. People are working on getting Custom Firmware to work with the 3000 PSPs but no luck so far.

Probably. Try downloading pre-made EBOOTs from The Pirate Bay. But before you can download stuff from TPB, you'll need some software like uTorrent or BitTorrent. This ensures that you'll be able to use .torrent files. Anyway, once your EBOOT of choice is finished downloading, simply put it in your PSP's GAME folder after you've connected it with a USB cable. The directory will look something like this: H:\PSP\GAME. There is an alternative, though it takes longer. You can make your own EBOOTs by first downloading the game's .bin or .iso file from TPB and, after downloading PSX2PSP (google it), you can customize the game's EBOOT file by giving it its own icon, description, title, etc. Another thing I should probably mention is the file's name will be EBOOT.pbp. Hope this helps, dude.

Yes it will work perfectly. And if your thinking about getting one, you should go ahead and get the lilac one. Its a Hannah Montana bundle, but even though i don't like her cuz im a 25 year old woman, i still love the color even more than the white Star Wars one my ex got me last year. Its really cute and sparkly. And as far as games for it.. Daxter and Jax, Loco Roco, Patapon, Little Big Planet, Ratchet and Clank. I have tried those and they are fun. But just to narrow it down, if ya want cute and fun..
