Well you have to attach internet and you can install it. If you cant do it on linux then I will recommend you to install that on some other computer and transfer that to usb and then put it on your linux.

i have a macbook with osx leopard, and i want to play age of empires 3 online. the game tells me i need gameranger to play, so i download it, make an account, and it tells me in the setup that the "proxy server could not be found." what does this mean and how do i fix it. i dont mean proxy server could not be found, my bad. what i meant was that it tells me that a connection could not be established

This was a recent bug with the Setup Assistant. It should be fixed now.

"Gameranger supports both pc and mac..."

GameRanger supports both PC and Mac, but unfortunately none of the Age of Empires series are compatible between PC and Mac. There's nothing GameRanger or any other service can do to make that possible. The only way you can do this is if you have an Intel Mac. Then you can install Windows using BootCamp, and then run the PC version of Age of Empires III on your Mac. It's not the news you wanted to hear, I'm sure, but that's the reality of it.

i found a place to play this game on gameranger.com. i was wondering though if you also need the disk to play? or is it like the old age of empire games where you could play with 2 people if you only had 1 disk?

as stated above im using mac osx leopard i have the game age of empires 3 and want to be able to play online, so i was told to download gameranger by the game. when i began the download and made the new account, it constantly tells me that the proxy server cannot be reached. i checked my email for comformation, and the email was not there. i have no idea what proxy even means, and i need help with this.

ok, i have age of empires 3 mac, an i want to play multiplayer online. i got gameranger and when i go online gameranger says i have a nat router and im not compatible with everyone, i hit continue, but it seams im not compatible with anyone. how can i disable nat on my router. i have the t-mobile hotspot@home router with the model number wrtu54g-tm. help!!!!

To completely disable NAT to have a routing-only firewall, do the following. 1.Go to the Firewall -> NAT screen, and click the Outbound tab. 2.Select the option "Manual Outbound NAT rule generation (Advanced Outbound NAT (AON))" and click Save. 3.Remove all automatically generated NAT rules at the bottom of the screen. 4.Apply changes
