sorry here`s a more explained answer: You can find Gengar in the tower before Solaceon City. Any Pokemon GBA game inserted into the NDS or NDSlite will activate a wild Gengar available in that tower. You can migrate your Pokemon from your Emerald game. First go to the menu. Then when it is ready, an option will appear saying: MIGRATE FROM EMERALD. Then you must pick six and ONLY six pokemon per day. Then go to Pal Park. The locations differ from DPPt and HGSS. YOU CAN ONLY ACCESS THE PAL PARK ONCE YOU DEFEAT THE POKEMON LEAGUE.(DPPt) or Go to Fuschia City. Once again, after defeating the elite four.(HGSS) DPPt: Go to the sea route below Sandgem town and just keep going until you see the Pal Park. WARNING WARNING: YOU CANNOT AND I REPEAT YOU CANNOT RETURN YOUR MIGRATED POKEMON BACK TO YOUR GBA. ONLY DS TO GBA. Once your in Pal Park you will be given Master Ball-like balls. They have 100 percent catch rate but here`s the catch. Each pokemon has a unique area in the pal park. You must find them. For example: Geodude is in the Mountains.
