Q. I have a r4i card which i previously installed games on for my son's dsi.?

however, as i'm trying to replace them with new games, i'm encountering the problem that the old games are getting deleted but the disk space they occupied on the memory card is still maintained, so even though i'm deleting games, i'm getting the message of not enough space left on the card. is the r4i card rewritable, do i need to reformat it every time i want to change games, or do i have to buy a new one when the older ones are full

Q. Are new purchased dsi firmware block r4i?

i used to have a dsi .... and i liked it i had to sell it and i want to re-purchase one for cristmas i had a r4i which allows you to play free ds games would " new " dsi have firmware to block off the r4i? because it would be no use to me' buying cartriges and if the firmware is changed so the r4i doesnt work on them can you install new firmware to the r4i memory card to make it compatible with the new firmware to play free games awarding best answer!

Q. How to upgrade r4 kernals?

hi. i recently purchased my r4 sdhc upgrade card from this website http://www.r4i.co.uk/ when i purchased the card, to set it up, you had no choice but to install the firmware (kernals) which they had provided via their website. http://www.r4i.co.uk/r4 or via this website http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/downloade.asp (they're the same kernals on both websites) the problem is, i don't like this version of the firmware...it has bugs and doesn't look as nicely laid out as the latest versions of the firmware. also, i sometimes find the game (roms) that i install will play just fine first time around but my r4 will not recognize the save file the next time the game is loaded - meaning i can no longer play that game?! i have tried upgrading my r4 firmware with the latest kernals using this website... http://www.r4ds.cn/download/r4ds.html i have tried various versions but none of them seem to work?? can anyone help me?
