One volume control slider is on your media player, and one is in the system tray, in the lower right hand corner, near the computer`s clock. Make sure both these volume control settings are set at max. If it`s still not loud enough and you don`t have a volume slider on your speakers system, you should buy externally powered and amplified speakers (Speakers that you plug in for power which have a volume control button). Please don`t joke with your computer and don`t try those sound boosters or whatever they calls. Just buy a new more powerful or bigger speakers. Because if in your sound settings the sound is on maximum that that is the maximum sound you can play on your speakers and if you boost your sound yous speakers can die:( Judith Foster

You can increase the sound of the acer laptop by using the external speakers but if you are using internal speakers of the laptop go to the small speaker that is shown on the task bar below the computer to check whether the volume is low or high and still if its cant working then download the plug in from the internet mostly people use windows media player to hear a better sound..

To increase your laptop sound volume, you have to attach some external speakers with your laptop with some woofers so it will work bravo.

After you have tried increasing the volume on the media player, and sliding the system volume control to the max (the one in the system tray) either by clicking its icon or by using a special key (if you have a multimedia keyboard), you should have the maximum output signal that your sound card and built in speakers can take.
