If you have spilled water on your laptop keyboard, DO NOT turn it off. Water can never damage electronics unless they are turned on. Take out the batter of your laptop and let the two parts dry for days to be on the safer side. After letting it dry for around 7 days, put the parts together and try using a blow dryer in the COOL mode. Do not let it be hot. After having done this, turn on your laptop. Best of luck.

i beleive u hit the FN key and u use the 3 and 4 buttons

To do it on the keyboard, hold down Fn and then press F3 (turn down), F4 (turn up) or F2 (to mute). Hope this helped.

The volume control on L655 would appeae to Fn 3 for down and Fn 4 up.Hope this helps

I don`t know why either, I looked all over the web for help, and no one seemed to know, this is what I did on my toshiba running windows 7: I went to "speakers properties.....click on Advanced tab.... under the Exclusive mode: uncheck "Allow aplications to take exclusive control of this device.....click apply......under the enhancement tab.....click on "disable all enhancements"... click apply..... This worked for me, I hope it helps.

That`s probably normal. Several machines let you know that they`re connected to the charger by an audio signal. Likely the only way to disable it would be in the BIOS setup. If it`s not there, then you`ll probably just have to live with it... In XP, Go to control panel, sounds and audio devices, click the advanced button in the device volume section in volume tab, make the PC beep option mute. If you dont see the option, go to options -> properties in the sam window, enable the "Show PC beep control"

My laptop Toshiba L 360 speakers screech when I move it while playing the music. Is there a way to fix or is by default designed to be like that?

I cannot hear the volume on many Netflix movies on my Toshiba C655 laptop. Netflix said to reload Silverlight from Microsoft. I don`t know. Anyone else dealing with this?

If you spilled water or another liquid on your laptop I suggest not powering it on for a while. The keyboard should be cleaned and I highly recommend that you take your laptop to someone who knows what they are doing, since they will probably know how to look for other circuitry that might have been affected as well. Water and other liquids may contain substances that can create a short-circuit and burn components inside your laptop, so the interior should be cleaned with other liquids such as special types of alcohol.
