if you want to know about the model of your mac then the procedure is very simple for you to do as follows.. 1.. press apple menu then press about this mac 2..press more information then copy the serial number 3..move to apple website and then press support then tech spec 4.. paste the serial number their and you find the model of your mac. Vickie is confused. Her directions would help you eventually stumble into your answer if you were using Windows. Here is the real answer. Go to the Apple menu in the upper left corner on your screen. Click "About this Mac" Click "More Info ..." In the window that opens, select and copy the Serial Number (or write it down) Go to Apple's website (below). Click Support A little way down the page and centered, click "Tech Spec" Paste (or type) your Mac's serial number into the "Search Tech Specs" field. This will find the information you need about your Macintosh.

ok, i have a mac powerbook g4 osx 10.4.10, and im trying to print through network to samsung sf-565pr connected to my windows xp. i tried to add printer in mac, found the printer in the network, but samsung is not listed in the printer model list. i tried generic, but it doesnt work. and it also asked for a password which i don't know (connect as: user&password). i tried looking everywhere on the net, even adding samsung driver to my mac, but it still doesn't appear in the printer list. please anybody, i need your help. thanks a lot

at home, i always use my laptop wireless, and my internet is fine, but when i'm at uni during term time, my computer always seems to cut me off the internet often (sometimes every five minutes) and i have to restart my computer for it to work again. i've made a complaint, and i have to provide the above details, but don't know how to find them out? does anyone know how to solve either of my problems? much, much appreciation :)
