Go to the control pannel Click on utilities Click on system profile You will find out mac model number.

When the computer starts up, at the Menu Bar on top of the screen, click HELP--> Mac Help As for information about your Mac, look under the Apple menu for About this Mac, or About this Computer. Click on More Info All Macs have an app called System Profiler. It'll tell you all about the computer. For help from folks in your neighborhood, check out a local Apple User Group near you. Test your internet connection. If its OK, the download file might be HUGE.

I totally trust OWC - I get all my Apple RAM there and I've also bought other Apple accessories and hard drives from them. Q. Video capture device for mac users?
i just recently became a mac user, & i'am having trouble finding a compatible video captiure device so, far i have only tried two external one's and neither does not work for "live stream & broadcasting online" i run mac os x 10.6.2. i'am in desperately need to find a compatible device whether it is an internal or external hardware. i'am a webcam model/performer and have been searching for the past two weeks online... i go into electronic stores, such as best buy & office depot, and they have not a clue on what i'am talking about. the hd camcorder, i bought for mac users is apitek action hd gvs- 1080p hd camcorder w/ 5x optical zoom. so far, i have tried pennacle dazzle video capture for mac & today i just bought the video capture by elgato for mac and neither does not work for live stream & broadcasting or atleast for me anyways. if someone could please, help me or pin point me to a specific brand with the model number of the product or item that would be greatly appreciated. i'am so tired, frustrated, aggravated, & feed-up that i'am willing to give someone a piece offering such as some money via- paypal for $100 bucks
