can you download games from you computer to a sd card than on to the dsxl?

The way you save the game on your dsi depends on the game itself. While from some games you will have to save manually, through the menu, others have an autosave function. The saved games are stored on the game card, not on the console so if you insert the game card into another dsi, your saved games will be available. Jack Russel

It depends. First of all, it depends on what type of save it is. If it is a single player save, such as Fallout 3 or Red Dead Redemption Singleplayer, They really don`t care. However, if you mod multiplayer there is a chance to be banned, and I cannot tell you what kind of ban you would receive. However, A lot of my friends modded Read Dead Redemption online and didn`t get banned.

if you want to save games on the dsi then keep in your mind that the dsi is not a psp but you dont need the sd card on dsi. the games are infact saved on the internal memory of the game or internal drive of the game. so i hope your concept is clear now in saving game files. Bill.Gagnon

many people think that they might need an SD card for saving games` files as needed for music and picture files. but this is not the case. rather the nintendo dsi has its own in built memory for storage of game files. the carts include their own battery which backs up your saved data in them. eventually this battery would die but it would take at least 20 years for it to die. :)

if you but an r4i for saving games then remember that you have to use the compatible firmware for the r4i and the other point is this that the r4i does not save the game into its rom itself. you can use the 2gb micro sd card with r4i and you can save the games. Bill.Gagnon

you can easily save the dsi games on the dsi internal memory. this is because the dsi comes with the internal memory for the storage purpose and the dsi doesnt need the external strorage for storing games. so you can save the games directly onto the dsi .

Dsi saves the games in same way as ds. It deosn`t need any sd card, you can save the games directly.
